Depending on how much of this website you read its fair to suggest that Luke works in information technology. Although Luke's computing skills are relatively advanced he is in actual fact a Microbiologist.

Microbiology

Microbiology is the scientific study of small microscopic organism that include bacteria, viruses and fungi. Many of these micro-organisms can be found in our environment and also on ourselves.

Its fair to say that the vast majority of these micro-organism are non-disease causing however some can cause disease in living organisms including plants, animals and of course humans.

Luke's profession means that he works with micro-organisms that can cause disease primarily in humans but also sometimes in animals too.
